A documentary by two desperate young filmmakers who stumble upon the ultimate subject, a 33 year old cannibalistic serial killer named Anthony McAllister, who has agreed to let them document every aspect of his horrifically violent life-style. Initially terrified, the filmmakers get to know Anthony as a person. They even begin to identify with his ecological and philosophical justifications for his cannibalistic lifestyle. It's only when they investigate further that the filmmakers begin to doubt Anthony's accounts of his past. Tensions noticeably rise as the filmmakers continue to confront Anthony on his conflicting stories and ever-changing philosophies. During an awkward interview, the filmmakers interview Merle, the father of a young girl who was abducted and never found. This abduction was Anthony's first child victim. Merle welcomes them into his home and gives them a heart-felt experience that even Anthony is touched by...

Storyline :

Innocence carries no weight in the corrupt halls of justice and no one knows better than the peasant girl who is sold and subjected to a barrage of depraved punishments. Methods of Chinese torture date back to the Yu and Sung Dynasties One of the most renowned cases found in history was the trial of Young Nam and Little Cabbage.

Falsely accused of murder the two victims were forced to endure torturous punishments. Lovers Little Cabbage and a scholar are put on trial for the murder of Cabbages husband by overdose of aphrodisiac which caused his massive member (the size of a donkeys) to explode. The real culprit is the magistrates son who is committing adultery with the scholars wife which was witnessed by Cabbage.

The adulterous couple frame the platonic couple (Cabbage was still a virgin) to cover up their own affair. Most of the film is taken up with the farcical trial where the judge uses torture to convince the framed lovers to confess. The scholars maid and nanny take the case to appeal in the imperial capital. But will anyone listen

Storyline :

Four months before Christmas, Sarah and Matthieu Scarangelo were in a car crash, of which Sarah and her unborn baby were the only survivors. On Christmas Eve, Sarah stays home alone, where she grieves her husband and prepares to go to the hospital the next morning for the delivery. As night falls, a woman knocks on Sarah's door asking to use the phone.

When she refuses, the woman reveals that she knows Sarah and tries to force her way in. Sarah calls the police; they inspect the home and determine the woman has left, but promise to keep watch over Sarah through the night. The woman returns and tries to take Sarah's unborn child, but Sarah locks herself in the bathroom. The strange woman torments Sarah through the night and kills all who try help her.

The French are having a bit of a horror renaissance on their shores right now it would seem. After Haute Tension stirred up a tremendous hype a few years back, films like Malefique, Them, and Frontieres are doing the exact same.

But none of them have received the word of mouth that this brutal film has. Inside is a damn mean film. I think it goes too far in its excess, but that's what you have to do to shock an audience these days. And shocking it is. Can you imagine what the angry mob of parents that wanted to ban Silent Night, Deadly Night w

ould think about Inside? If you've seen it, you probably can imagine. If you haven't, I suggest giving it a spin. The less I say about the movie, the more powerful the experience will be. Inside is a film I will most likely never watch again, because I'm sure I will never forget it.

Absolutely Fantastic 9/10 Great !!!

I saw this film last night at a free showing and was completely blown away. I didn't expect it to be anything more than a clichéd murder story. How wrong I was! The story moves along at a gripping pace, the cinematography is beautiful (simple and complex simultaneously. A perfect balance.) The acting is very believable. I think anyone would enjoy this film, as the audience I saw it with was a mixture of people from a number of different socioeconomic backgrounds and everyone seemed to like what they saw.

The only aspect of the film that worries me is that the main character is going to be viewed as a sort of embodiment of an angry, man hating feminist, rather than a girl who is on a mission to erase the horrors of pedophilia. The people I saw it with agreed that they were nervous that the film will only reinforce cultural attitudes about feminist as man hating, psycho bitches, which is simply a generalization. But remove that possible attitude towards the film and it is quite good. I really enjoyed it. Thumbs up.

Brain Dead is exactly what the title suggests: a vapid experience that’s devoid of any sort of intellect…and I don’t think Tenney would have it any other way. Imagine if Troma produced a bizarre mash-up of Night of the Creeps and Night of the Living Dead, and you have Brain Dead. It’s an exercise in bad taste, gore, and ample nudity, which means it doesn’t aim much lower than the films that made Tenney so famous in the first place. Indeed, the director splashes grue and naked bodies all over the screen in this 90 minute romp. By no means is it a good movie, but Brain Dead is just fun and gory enough to keep your attention for most of its running time.
Brain Dead isn’t exactly a resounding success or return to glory for Tenney, but it’s a reminder that he’s capable of making some fun films if given the chance. He sticks to a boobs and blood formula that’s worked well enough for decades past, and it’ll likely be one that’s reused as long as audiences crave buxom babes and disgusting gore.

Breaking Glass will be brining this one home on October 5th through their Vicious Circle Films label. The disc will feature the usual anamorphic widescreen transfer, a 5.1 surround track, deleted scenes, a blooper reel, and a making-of documentary. Fans of low-grade schlock should check it out.

One key factor in good horror flicks is some nudity. Another key feature is lots of blood. In this case we get both. A real schizo with a penchant for sex covered in blood and looking for more action. Yippee! Add to that a mad doctor (Peter Stormare, who is perfect in the role) who turns his patients into flesh eating zombies, and horror fans have something to root for.

There is even a Nurse Ratchet, and a Hannibal Lecter in the film, as the director attempts to pay homage to other horror films.

As you might expect, the central character is Jack (think Cuckoo's Nest), who gets himself committed to find out if his crazy sister (Kiele Sanchez) is OK. Jack (Jesse Metcalfe from "Desperate Housewives") soon finds out that things are not OK, and joins with Dave (Kevin Sussman) to get his sister out.

Loved the ending!
